I loved the beautiful green acres surrounding the hotel, and the nearby Gibberd Garden was a gem for leisurely strolls, perfect for soaking up the sun and nature. plus, the breakfast was delightful with options to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air.

This hotel offers a refreshing retreat with its lush gardens and welcoming atmosphere. Interactions with the staff were delightful, especially enjoying a cozy evening in the bar lounge with excellent cocktails. Heads up, the driveway has potholes, so drive carefully!

Amazing spa day and afternoon tea!

The grounds are stunning, and the Double Room had luxurious Espa toiletries. I loved the spa facilities with a steam room, hot tub, and relaxation area. Afternoon tea was served beautifully with fresh sandwiches and pastries. The staff were super attentive and made the experience special, even taking drinks outside on the terrace.

Despite the picturesque setting, the experience fell short in several areas. Breakfast service lagged, with long waits for both items and service. the hot food often arrived barely warm. Inconsistent dinner service proved frustrating, with disruptions from loud wedding receptions affecting our peaceful moments. The lack of in-room information complicated what should have been simple questions about dining and facilities. The spa, while inviting, felt underwhelming for a hotel of this caliber, offering only basic amenities despite high expectations. the muted temperature control in rooms caused discomfort at night, offsetting a potentially cozy experience.

The staff exemplified kindness, responding swiftly when our group had a minor issue in the night. Walking through the grounds was a highlight, providing a picturesque backdrop to our stay.

The room's temperature control could use better adjustment options.

This hotel suits me perfectly with its free parking, 24-hour reception, and great restaurant. I fondly remember how the staff helped my elderly parents with a sweet attitude. I'm excited to return for a weekend!...

While the food was generally good, the dining experience was marred by disorganized service and long waits, which detracted from the overall enjoyment of our stay.
